I am registered and would like to play tomorrow morning but noticed there are no openings. Can I just show up with the hope that there’s a last-minute cancellation or ‘no show’?
In the past 3 years of conducting Shootouts, there seem to be up to 5 players that cancel the last minute or cannot show and forget to sign out. The numbers have been improving, players are much more aware and diligent about taking themselves off. My suggestion would be to keep watching up to 8:30am and sign in there, and/or, come 1st thing (8-8:30) and put yourself on the waitlist with me at the entry desk as you walk in. Meanwhile, you can warm up and play till about 9:45 and then again @ 11-12. That's what I would do. This particular app doesn't have a waiting list.
Well, I got my 1st mistake out fairly quickly this year. The clinics do not begin until Tuesday, January 9th. Sorry about the misinformation. Those involved will get an email by Sunday with your groups and starting times. Have a great week!!!
