Hi everyone,

I hope you all had an incredible Spring & Summer so far. We’ve had lots of elements to deal with, and also some beautiful days.

Dana Barros Basketball Club (DBBC) will be welcoming Pickleball back for our 4th season. Thank you for being wonderful guests each year!!!

DBBC's season will run from Monday, November 2nd through Friday, May 1st, beginning each morning @ 8:30am till noon during the week with our 15 courts.

The “event schedule" will be available in mid to late September for signups. You’ll be able to sign up through November and after that it will be a 2 week signup in advance. Everyone will be notified via email. You can find how to signup through PlayerLineup on the website danabarros3.com if you haven’t done so already.

The changes in events will be as follows:

Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays will have Open Play AND Shootouts. We will make sure there is availability of courts according to the numbers in the events.

Tuesdays will be "Ladies Only" with the choice of Open Play, Shootouts, and, if enough interest, we can offer our 1st Womens Ladder League. I’ll need feedback on that.

Thursdays will be "Men Only" with Women invited, which means women can come and please be respectful of the mens wishes of who’s on the court. Again, it will be a choice of Open Play, Shootout, and if enough interest, a Mens Ladder League.

DBBC will be honoring the Punchcards again for $100 for 11 visits ($2.60/hr for 3.5 hours) till the end of November. You can purchase as many as 5 punchcards in November. December 1st the cost will be $110 each ($10-$2.86/hr for 3.5 hours) for the rest of the season till April. The last month will be the same price as the 1st month ($100). These are the same prices as last year.

This years changes are because of your voices and what you would like for the season. I will continue to take all your great suggestions and be open to make necessary changes where it would be most beneficial to us all.

For those planning on signing up for Shootouts and to make this event start on time, I’m asking you to copy my cell and text me that you’re coming by 8:45 so we can start by 9:15 latest. Thank you.
